Delete Your Account

What gets deleted

• Your account credentials (email, password hash)
• Your sobriety start date and all counter history
• Prayer and Bible reading logs
• Streak and achievement data
• Your sin category / struggle area selection
• All check-in records
• Emergency contacts you saved in the app

Timeline

• Immediately: Your account is deactivated. You cannot log in.
• Within minutes: All active database records are permanently deleted.
• Within 30 days: Your data is purged from encrypted backup snapshots during the normal rotation cycle.

Option 1 — Delete from the app

This is the fastest way. Inside BE FREE:

1. Open the app and go to the Settings tab (bottom right)
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
3. Read the confirmation and type DELETE to confirm
4. Tap "Delete My Account" — your data is immediately removed

Option 2 — Delete via this web form

If you no longer have access to the app, submit the form below. We'll process your deletion request within 48 hours and send a confirmation email.
